occured on Friday,Feb.13,1998,at her home.
Born in Country Harbour
she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Lena(Malloy)Smith.
She is survived by her husband,Grant;
six daughters;
Marion {Mrs. Carl Johnston}Abercrombie;
Thelma{Mrs.Glen Boynton}Stony Creek,Ont.,
Linda Vance, Coalburn;
Carol{Mrs.Dick Cole},Inverness;
Sheila and Sandra,both at home;
ten sons:
Brent,Scotsburn;
Warren,Walt and Wayne,all of Coalburn;
Ray, Shubenacadie;
George,Abercrombie;
Stan, Greenwood;
David,Scotch Hill;
Neil,Havelock,Ont.;
Kenny,Antigonish;
36 grandchildren;22 great-grandchildren;
and one great-great grandchild;
also four sisters:
Bessie Worth,Country Harbour;
Bertha Christie,Pinevale;
Lil Guthro,Sydney;
Stella Smith,Canso;
and four brothers:
McRitchie,Arthur and Scott,all of Country Harbour;
and Bill,Halifax.
She was predeased by two sisters:
Margaret Mason,Muriel;
three brothers: John,Alex and Walter
and three grandchildren: Trevor,Lawrence and Laura.
