Francis Everard Kelley - 84,
Wine Harbour, Guysborough County,
died March 1, 1993 in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Canso he was a son of the late Everard and Mary (Daley) Kelley.
He worked for many years as a bookkeeper for various companies
in Eastern Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
He was a past member of Knights of Columbus, Dartmouth,
and a life member of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Sherbrooke.
He is survived by his wife, the former Agnes Cooper;
three daughters, Kathryn (Kitty) Scott, Brooklyn Mass., Mary (Mrs. Graham Burns),
Wine Harbour; Anita (Mrs. Arthur MacEachern), Aspen, Guysborough County;
brother, Lawrence (Buster), Canso; two sisters, Julia
(Mrs. Courtney MacKenzie), Margaret, both of Canso;
three grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
The body has been cremated. A memorial service will be
2 p.m. today in St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church,
Rev. Gary MacPherson officiating. Burial to follow
in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Wine Harbour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation
of Nova Scotia or Canadian Cancer Society.
