Nellie Steele Stark, 95, Fox Island, Guysborough County, died April 15 in
Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Hazel Hill, she was a daughter of
the late Peter and Catherine (Fraser) Dewar. She was a retired registered
nurse and worked for a number of years in the United States. She was a
member of All Saints Anglican Church, Canso. She is survived by a sister,
Mrs Flora Hagen, Fox Island. She was predeceased by her husband, James. The
body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held April 25 in All
Saints Anglican Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
