Lillian B Manthorne, 76, Seal Harbour, Guysborough County,
died April 9 in St Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Country Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Stanley B.
and Theresa (Worth) Mason. She was an active member
of Seal Harbour United Baptist Church where she served
as choir member for more than 50 years.
She was a life member of United Baptist Women's Missionary Society,
a member of Seal Harbour Cemetery Association,
which she served a treasurer, and Sunset Senior Citizens' Club,
Country Harbour. Surviving are her husband, Bernard;
three daughters, Joyce (Mrs Howard Jack), Dartmouth;
Marilyn (Mrs Peter MacPhee), Port Williams; Brenda (Mrs Arthur Dyck),
Calgary; a brother Scott, Seal Harbour; a sister Eva Manthorne,
Seal Harbour; seven grandchildren. She was predeceased
by a brother Henry. Funeral was held Sunday in Seal Harbour
United Baptist Church, with burial in Seaside cemetery, Seal Harbour.
