James William Borden, 79,
Upper Big Tracadie, died Oct 21,
in St Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Upper Big Tracadie,
he was a son of the late William and Sarah Jane (Ashe) Borden.
He was a retired laborer.
He was a member of Tracadie United Baptist Church
and Men's Brotherhood. He is survived by a daughter,
Gloria (Mrs Kitchener Skinner), Halifax;
two brothers, Jerry Morris, Lincolnville; Robert Borden, Digby;
three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife,
the former Annie Desmond, three sisters, Sophie, Josephine,
Laura; two brothers, Joseph, Wallace. The funeral was held
Oct 24 in Tracadie United Baptist Church
with burial in Sunnyview Cemetery.
