Stanley Valentine Williams , Havre Boucher -
Stanley Valentine Williams, 83, of Havre Boucher
died Mon Feb 8 1988 in St Martha's Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Queensport, he was a son of the late
John and Blanch (Jamieson) Williams.
He had been a fish cutter for Acadia Fisheries, Mulgrave
and was a member of St Andrew's Anglican Church, Mulgrave.
He is survived by his wife, the former Edith Dort,
a daughter Frances (Mrs Eldred Jamieson) Havre Boucher,
Donald , Mulgrave; Sylvester, Middle Melford;
three sisters, Mrs Stella Robichaud, North Carolina; Mrs Jennie Burke, Victoria BC,
Mrs Rena Murray, Halfway Cove, a brother Hubert, Half Island Cove,
20 grandchildren, five great grandsons.
He was predeceased by a brother Jake,
a sister Lila and a a grandson Kevin.
The funeral was held from Christ Anglican Church Guysborough
Thursday 3:30 pm with Rev Allan Sagar officiating.
The pallbearers were his 6 grandsons, Donald John, Ernest, Brad and Gary Williams,
Richard and Eldred Jamieson Jr. The hymns were
Abide With Me and Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough.
