Ephraim Christopher Feltmate, 84,
a resident of this place passed away on Dec 19
after a long period of ill health.
The late Mr Feltmate was born at Upper White Head in this county in 1852.
Thirty years ago he moved to Eight Island Lake,
purchased a farm and continued to live here
until his death. Mrs Feltmate, the former Elsie Croft of White Head,
predeceased her husband twelve years. Burial at family lot
in Argyle Cemetery. Survived by Seward,
Eight Island Lake; Arthur, Trenton; Melvin, Eight Island Lake;
Mrs Roy Fancy, Ecum Secum; Mrs William Grover, Goshen;
Robert , Portland Me.; Mrs W A Messer, Portland; Mrs Arthur Ransted, Portland;
Mrs Tyrus Hensbee (sic) White Head; Harry, Timmins.
32 grandchildren 17 great grandchildren.
Brother George, Goshen, is the last survivor of the large family
of the late Mr and Mrs William Feltmate.
