Margaret G Feltmate, Canso -
Mrs Margaret Gladys Feltmate, 70, of Union Street, Canso,
died Tuesday in Eastern Memorial Hospital , Canso.
Born in Canso, she was a daughter of the later Walter and Mary (Spears) Swaine.
She was a member of the United Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Oakley,
five daughters, Gloria (Mrs Lawrence Johnson), Spryfield;
Sharon (Mrs Gerald Mont), Lower Sackville;
Phyllis (Mrs Gerald Ryan), Kitchener, Ont; Sandra (Mrs Cyril Horne),
New Glasgow, and Wanda , Halifax, a son,
Oakley Jr, Lower Sackville, six sisters Evelyn (Mrs Robert Smith)
Eastern Passage; Lydia (Mrs Eric Foster) Prince Edward Island,
Jewel (Mrs James Roberts), Mabel (Mrs Arthur Newell )
and Florence (Mrs Ed Bond) all of Canso;
Norma (Mrs Leonard Dobson), Fox Island; three brothers,
Douglas and Jack, both of Ontario, and Ross,
Canso; nine grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister,
a brother and three infant sons.
The body is in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso.
Funeral will be 2 pm Friday in United Baptist church,
Canso, Rev Timothy Fraser officiating . Burial will be
in Union Cemetery, Canso.
