GLENELG -- Mrs. Ernest William Jordan, 79, of Glenelg, Guysborough County, died Friday in St. Mary's Hospital, Sherbrooke.

Born in Smithfield, she was the former Elsie Pearl MacIntosh, a daughter of the late King and Nessie (Smith) MacIntosh.

She was a member of the Glenelg Presbyterian Church and a resident of that community most of her life.

Surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, one sister, Edna; two brothers, Stanley and Howard.

The body is at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater, Guysborough County.
Funeral service will be today at 2 p.m. from the Glenelg Presbyterian Church, Rev. Glen MacDonald officiating.
Burial in the Evergreen cemetery.
