Mrs Minnie Feltmate, Canso, April 8 -

The funeral of Mrs Minnie Feltmate,
widow of Cranswick Feltmate, longtime residents of Canso,
was held at the United Baptist Church, Canso
on Friday afternoon, April 5, with the Rev R MacArthur,
Pastor of the United Baptist Church, Guysborough, officiating.
Mrs Feltmate, who passed away on April 3,
had reached the advanced age of 98 years.
She was a member of Marina Rebekah Lodge of this town.
She is survived by one son, Reginald and two daughters
Evelyn (Mrs Ernest Eagles), Wolfville, and Goldie (Mrs Rogers) residing in New England,
and a number of grandchildren. Her husband predeceased her
a number of years ago. Hymns sung were
"Safe In the Arms of Jesus" and "Rock of Ages."
Interment was in the Union Cemetery, Canso.
