ASPEN -- Lester Clyde Malloy, 57,
of Aspen, Guysborough County, died Saturday, Feb. 13 at home.

Born in Aspen, he was a son of the late Robert and Catherine (Weir) Malloy.

He was a resident of Aspen for most of his life and an adherent of Kirk Memorial United Church, Glenelg, Guysborough County.
He was employed for many years with the Department of Transportation, Department of Fisheries and in the lumbering industry.

He is survived by his former wife, Gloria (Snyder), East River St. Mary's, Pictou County;
a daughter, Donna Eileen (Mrs. Greg Archibald) Alberta;
five sisters,
Eileen Cumminger, Aspen;
Jean (Mrs. Charles Langille), Country Harbour;
Kaye Gretch, Norma (Mrs. Lawson MacDonald), Mildred Beaton, all of Oshawa, Ont;
a brother, Eddie, Oshawa;
several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Elaine, in infancy; three brothers, Graham, Arthur, Walter.

His remains are resting in Kirk Memorial United Church, with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Thursday, where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday.
Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Ministry of the Death or any charity.

Arrangements are under the direction of H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
