Parker, Sarah (Sadie) -- 78, Canso,
died Tuesday in Eastern Memorial Hospital.
Born in Canso, she was the daughter of
the late John and Mary (Dugas) O'Hearn.
She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish,
and Shamrock Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by three daughters,
Aggie (Mrs. Joseph Boudreau), Dartmouth;
Marion (Mrs. Fred Snow), Connecticut;
Lorraine (Mrs. Richard Walker), Canso;
five sons, Patrick, Canso; Sylvester, Hazel Hill;
Dennis, Whitehead; James, Daniel, both at home;
two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Fitzgerald, Canso;
Nina (Mrs. William Forbrigger), Port Hawkesbury;
20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent;
three brothers; two sisters. The body is in
Star of the Sea Church, Canso, visiting after 4 p.m. today,
where funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, Rev. James W. Oliver officiating.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
No flowers by request.
