Mrs. George Williams

Baddeck - Mrs. George Williams, 86,
died Wednesday in Alderwood Rest Home.

Born in West Cook's Cove, she was the former Gertrude Cordelia Dickie,
a daughter of the late Clarkson and Anne (Sangster) Dickie.

She was a resident of Baddeck for 22 years, and a member of
Greenwood United Church, Order of Eastern Star,
Guysborough and Baddeck. She was also
a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary
and a Silver Cross Mother.

Surviving are: four sons, Russ, Oscar, both of Guysborough;
Hartley, Charlie, both of Sydney;
five daughters, Cathy (Mrs. Murray Worth), Guysborough;
Mary (Mrs. William Munro), Toronto;
Dolena (Mrs. Sandy Hiltz), Kentville;
Ruth (Mrs. Gordon DeWinter), Harrietsfield;
Mrs. Rose Sangster; Doris (Mrs. W.F. Black), Baddeck;
a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, a son, Whitney,
and an infant daughter, Nina.

The body is in the MacAskill's Funeral Home,
and will be trandsferred to Wesley United Church, Guysborough, Friday,
where funeral service will be held 1:30 Saturday.
Burial will be in church cemetery.
Donations may be made to Alderwood Ladies Auxiliary, Baddeck.
