RED BAR

There passed away at his home Monday evening,
Garfield Gammon, aged 55 years.
His passing came as a great shock to the community here.
Mr. Gammon was felling well and worked
up to the time of his death and was in the act
of making kindlings for the morning's fire
when he was seized with a heart attack and passed away shortly after.

He was a member of the New Harbor United Church
and will be greatly missed in the community
as he took an active part in all affairs.

He leaves to mourn his widow, and three children,
Evelyn and Bayne at home (Viola) Mrs. Ralph Mason, Country Harbor and his mother,
Mrs. Leonard Sponagle, Coddles Harbour, also four half sisters,
Mrs. Will Jones, Cook's Cove, Mrs. Trueman Langley, Drum Head,
Mrs. Andrew Fanning, Mrs. Ashley Langley, Seal Harbour, one half brother.
To these we extend our sincere sympathy.
