Earl Munroe -
The death occurred early this morning at Camp Hill Hospital
of Earl Munroe, of Whitehead, Guysborough Co.,
following a lengthy illness.
He was 47 years of age.
A well-known fisherman in that Eastern Shore community,
Mr Munroe was the son of Harvey Munroe and the late Charlotte Munroe,
also of Whitehead. Surviving are his wife Florence,
his father, and four daughters, Rita (Mrs Enos Munroe) of Whitehead,
Shirley (Mrs James Lawson) and Helen (Mrs John Pothier) both of Halifax
and Kathleen (Mrs Ronald Gravelle) of Ottawa.
Five brothers and four sisters all of Halifax
are also surviving Mr Munroe.

The remains are resting at Snow and Company's Chapel
and will be forwarded to his home on Tuesday.
Funeral arrangement will be announced later.
