Stirling George Taylor

TAYLOR, Stirling George -- 76, West Lochaber, Antigonish County,
died Tuesday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Lochaber, he was a son of the late William D. and Lottie E. (Archibald) Taylor.
He was a well-known strawberry grower in eastern Nova Scotia and was a deacon of Bethel Tabernacle Church, South Lochaber.
He is survived by his wife, the former Vera Archibald;
a daughter, Elizabeth (Mrs. Murray MacHattie), Coalburn, Pictou County;
two sons Robert, MacPherson's Mills, Pictou County;
Rev. Philip, Charlottetown;Hazel Grimm, Halifax;
a foster sister, Rita Green, East River, St. Mary's, Guysborough County;
three brothers, Alexander D., Charles E., both of Lochaber,
Eldon C., Dartmouth;
nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three brothers, Henry, Fred, Leroy in infancy.
The body is in Bethel Tabernacle Church, South Lochaber,
visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, 1-2 p.m. Thursday, and where funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Carman Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Aspen, Guysborough County.
Donations may be made to Bethel Tabernacle building fund,
Evergreen Cemetery fund or St. Mary's Memorial Hospital fund.
