Catherine Cruickshank
NEW GLASGOW
Mrs. Catherine Cruickshank passed away Friday at New Town
at the home of her son-in-law and daughter,
Mr. and Mrs. John A. Jordan.
She was in her 91st year and had been ill for a year.
She was born in Smithfield and resided at New Town
for the past 21 years.
She was a member of Lower Caledonia Presbyterian Church
and active in all its organizations.
She was predeceased by her husband, Levi Cruickshank,
40 years ago, and by two children in infancy.
Besides Mrs. Jordan, she is survived by three sons
and three other daughters: Harry, New Glasgow; Otto, Trenton;
George, Glenelg; Mrs. Louis C. Smith in Bates, Ore.;
Mrs. Dois Fulton, New Glasgow, Mrs. Eva Cameron,Sunny Brae;
and by one sister, Mrs. Arthur Cruickshank, Sunny Brae.
The funeral which was held from the Lower Caledonia church
Sunday afternoon. Interment in Lower Caledonia cemetery.
