Archibald, Helen Minnie - 80,
Melville Lodge, Halifax, formerly of Aspen, Guysborough County, died April 3, 1999, in the QE11 Health Sciences Centre. Born in Aspen, Guys. Co., July 2, 1918, she was a resident of South Lochaber before moving to Halifax some 30 years ago. She was an adherent of the Baptist Church. Surviving are sons, Wayne, Halifax; Ronnie, Denver, Guys. Co.; Andrew, Ottawa; daughter, Elizabeth (Mrs. Harry Ivey), Ottawa; foster son, Paul Hudson, Toronto; eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Alex Archibald. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen, Guys. Co. Rev. Fred Archibald officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Aspen Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
