ANDREWS, Mary Alice - 82, Sunnyville, Guysborough Co., died December 9, 1998, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Thompsonville, she was a daughter of the late John and Alice (Gosbee) Long. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Guysborough. She is survived by sons, Arthur, Aulds Cove; Clare, Pembroke, Ont.; Basil, Dartmouth; Edwin, Heatherton; Tory, Linwood; Jerry, Sunnyville, and Wayne, Guysborough; daughters, Mary Alice (Mrs. Basil MacDonald), Mulgrave; Hazel, Sunnyville; Eleanor, Antigonish, and Ruth Scott, Guysborough; 28 grandchildren; 26 great-grand-children; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John Henry; sons, Lawrence Michael and Ronald Anthony; daughter, Theresa Darlene; sister, Dorothy Alice MacNutt; a grandson and a granddaughter. Visitation will be today until 11 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Hazel Andrews. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday from St. Anne's Catholic Church, Guysborough, Rev. Allan MacPhee officiating. Burial in St. Anne's Cemetery, Guysborough. Memorial donations may be made to Hazel Andrews. Arrangements entrusted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, County Harbour.
