BLENKHORN, Margaret Blanche - 82, Wolfville Nursing Home, formerly of Queensport, Guysborough Co., died November 23, 1998, in the home. Born in Queensport, she was a daughter of the late Edmund and Lila (Matthews) Williams. She was, at one time, employed at the H.S. Hart Stores, Canso, and Connolly Lobster, Canso. She operated a confectionery store in Queensport for a number of years. She was a former member of Christ Anglican Church, Queensport, the IODE and the Rebekah's, and a founding member of the Eastern Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in Canso. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are several cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Curtis. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral 10 a.m. Wednesday in Christ Anglican Church, Queensport, Rev. Jim Speer officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Guysborough. Donations to the Nova Scotia Freemason Home, P.O. Box 2454, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0.
