GROVER, Harold Edward - 87, Whitehead, Guysborough Co., died December 29, 1998, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Queensport, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late James and Frances (Jamieson) Grover. He was a retired auto mechanic and heavy equipment operator having worked for Greyhound Coach Lines in Texas, Acadian Coach Lines in Halifax, as well as Warren Maritimes in New Glasgow as heavy equipment operator. At the time of his retirement, he managed Evergreen Landscaping in Pictou County. Surviving are sons Tex, Whitehead; Sheldon, Alma; Harlen, Thorburn; daughters, Anita (Mrs. Baker Dykens), Stellarton; Marie Grover, Alma; brothers, Borden, New Glasgow; Jim, Whitehead; sisters, Leata Fraser, Hillside, Pictou Co.; Helen Boyles, New Glasgow; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Margaret Feltmate, Cynthia Viola Grover in infancy. Funeral 2 p.m. today in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Whitehead, Rev. Jim Speer officiating. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Whitehead. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entursted to G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
