GRADY, Elvira Mildred GRADY, Elvira Mildred - 69, Cole Harbour, formerly of Guysborough, died December 13, 1998, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in St. Martins, N.B., she was a daughter of the late Norman and Claudia (Commary) Butler. She was a member of St. John the XXIII Parish, Cole Harbour; former member of St. Ann's Parish, Guysborough and former member of Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 81, Guysborough. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving are daughters, Margie Grady, Truro; Tami (Mrs. Douglas Brophy), Cole Harbour; sons, Jess, Greer, Dartmouth; Danny, Moncton, N.B.; sisters, Gladys Ritchie, Saint John, N.B.; Sylvia Schlichtenhorst, Kamloops, B.C.; brothers, Glendon, Niagara Falls, Ont.; Raymond, Saint John; five granddaughters. She was predeceased by husband, Jess Grady; son, Patrick; sister, Zita; brothers, Harold, Walter. Cremation has taken place. Funeral 2 p.m. today in St. Ann's Church, Guysborough, Rev. Allan MacPhie officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial service 10 a.m. Thursday in Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, Cole Harbour, Rev. Richards officiating. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements entrusted to Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough.
