LUMSDEN, Margaret Rilla ~ 71, Canso, died October 6, 1995, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Kensington, P.E.I., she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary (Brennan) McKinnon. She was a member of Star of the Sea Parish and ladies auxiliary of Royal Canadian Legion branch 46. Surviving are her husband, Russell; sisters, Mildred (Mrs. Cecil Carver), Summerside, P.E.I.; Mrs. Jean Howard, Ontario; brothers, Ted, James, Joe, Ontario; Emmett, Kensington; several nieces and nephews. Visitation 2-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Star of the Sea Church, Canso, Rev. Paul MacNeil officiating. Burial in parish cemetery. Donations to palliative care unit of Eastern Memorial Hospital.
