Letson Borden Schrader

DENVER -- Letson Borden Scrader, 71, of Denver, Guysborough County,
died Sunday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.

Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Melvin and Bertha (George) Schrader.

He worked for several years at Harry's O.K. Bakery, and was a supervisor with the Nova Scotia Power Commission in Dartmouth for 28 years.
He was secretary-treasurer of the St. Mary's District Fire Association, and was a member, choir member and elder of Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen.
He was a member of St. Mary's Male Choir.
He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret Gunn;
two sons, Melvin, Lower Sackville, and Rev. David, St. John, N.B.;
two daughters, Sharon Higgins and Dona Anderson, both of Lower Sackville;
15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren
two sisters, Marie Griese, Brockville, Ont.;and
Florence MacInnes, Napean, Ont.;
a brother, Don, Perth, Ont.
His remains will rest in Kirk Memorial United Church, with visiting 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, and from where funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev.
Interment in Pine Tree Cemetery, Newtown.
Donations may be made to the Pine Tree Cemetery Fund, or to any charity.
