Malcolm Scott Rudolph

RUDOLPH, Malcolm Scott ~ 89, Sherbrooke, died Wednesday in Saint Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Little Liscombe, he was a son of the late Ethel Rudolph and a stepson of James D. Croft, Liscombe. He was a fisherman and was retired from Department of Transportation, where he worked as grader-operator. He was a life member of St. John's United Church, Liscombe. He is survived by his wife, the former Laurie Mailman; three sons, Ernest, Marie Joseph; Ralph, Lower Sackville; Scott Jr., Dartmouth; four daughters, Ethel (Mrs. Fred Jeffers), Jordanville; Connie (Mrs. Don Jack), Port Bickerton; Marian (Mrs. Calvin Carroll), Sherbrooke; Phyllis (Mrs. David James), Vernon, B.C.; two stepsisters, Hazel Mason, West River; Edith Cameron, East River, St. Mary's; two stepbrothers, Palmer, Lloyd Croft, both of Liscombe; 31 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Edith; an infant son, Perry; several grandchildren; a great-grandchild. The body is in St. John's United Church, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, where funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. George Micklethwaite and Rev. Greg MacMullin officiating. Burial will be in church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Izaak Walton Killam Children's Hospital, Halifax, or to Nova Scotia Heart Foundation. Red Bar
