CHARLES LESLIE KNOCTON

KNOCTON, Charles Leslie - 66, Guysborough Intervale, died August 4, 1998, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Guysborough Intervale, he was the son of Catherine (Cora) (Hampton) Knocton, Antigonish and the late John William Knocton. He was retired from the Department of Transportation in Guysborough. He was a member of St Patrick's Parish, Guysborough Intervale. Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine MacGillivray; daughters, Patricia (Mrs. Chris Lantz), Dartmouth; Darlene (Mrs. Kim Persson), Vanderhoof, B.C.; Mary Anne (Mrs. Peter Gosbee), Antigonish; sons, Chuck, Bruce, Winston, Dartmouth; Michael, Kevin, Antigonish; John, Malahat, B.C.; brother, Joseph, Antigonish; sisters, Annie (Mrs. Joseph Roach), Cheticamp; Betty (Mrs. Gerald Lawlor), Antigonish; Mary (Mrs. Albert Delorey), Sackville; 15 grandchildren. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral 10 a.m. Thursday in St Patrick's Church, Rev. John Morrison officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to St Patrick's Cemetery Fund.
