Liscomb – Weldon Baker Reid, 52, of Liscomb, died Tuesday at home. Born in Big Island, Pictou County, he was a son of the late James and Bessie (Baker) Reid. He resided in Liscomb all his life and was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church and the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 86. Surviving besides his wife, the former Florence Greene, are two sisters, Loretta (Mrs. Max Baker) and Vivian (Mrs. Frank Hartling), both of Liscomb. He was predeceased by one son, Kenneth. The body is in St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Liscomb where funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. Edward Ebsary officiating, with burial in the parish cemetery.
