Langley, Everett Harry – 73
Cochrane Hill, Guysborough Co., died October 9, 1998, in St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Isaac’s Harbour, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Chester and Letticia Mae Clyburne. He was an adherent of Isaac’s Harbour Baptist Church. He was a labourer most of his life. He also served in the army with the Pictou Highlanders from 1941-1943. Surviving are his wife, the former Marjorie Acorn; daughters, Ethel Langley, Montague, PEI; Mabel (Mrs. Martin Young), Isaacs Harbour; Helen (Mrs. Robret King), Glen Road, Antigonish Co.; sons, Lorne, Harwood Lands, Halifax Co.;Dougie, Eldon, PEI; Harold, Musquodoboit; Evie, at home; Johnnie, East River, Guysborough Co.; Stu, Wood Islands, PEI; brothers, Seymour, Reginald, Isaacs Harbour; Lorne, Roland, Country Harbour; sisters, Chris Matheson, Country Harbour; Winnie (Mrs. Wes Clevercy), Margaret (Mrs. James Burnes), United States; 24 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, James. Funeral was in Isaac’s Harbour Baptist Church, Rev. Chuck Mosley officiated. Burial in Isaac’s Harbour Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to G. W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour.
