Sherbrooke – Donald David MacMillan, 59, of Sherbrooke, died Sunday at Saint Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Isaac’s Harbor, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Hugh MacMillan. He moved to Sherbrooke in 1926. He was an ardent sportsman and owned two racehorses, Marjorie Lee Volo and Lady Lee Volo. He is survived by a sister, Mildred, and two brothers, Abner and Hugh, all at home. The body is at his home in Sherbrooke, where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Frank Canning will officiate. Burial will be in Baptist Cemetery, Isaac’s Harbor. Rev. Robert Taylor will assist at the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Fund.
