HARTLING, Roy A. – Wine Harbour, Guysborough County, died April 12, 1994 in the Victoria General Hospital. Born at Wine Harbour, he was a son of the late Clarence and Robina (Benoit) Hartling. He was a longtime resident of Wine Harbour. He fished all of his life and was very active in the Independent Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Eva; two daughters, Verna Gillis, Ruby (Mrs. George Billard), both of Halifax, three sons, James G., Fall River, Marshall, Wine Harbour, Wade, Dartmouth; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wilfred, Charles, both of Halifax; two sisters, Stella (Mrs. Russell Craig), Lower Sackville; Louise (Mrs. Alfred White), Centreville. Hew as predeceased y three brothers, Arthur, Garfield, Gordon; twin infant sisters. Visitaiton wil be 7-9 p.m. tonight, 2-4 p.m. Thursday in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, Windsor Street, Halifax, where funeral will be 7 p.m. Thursday. The body wil then be transferred to Independent Baptist church, Wine Harbour, where funeral will be 3 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Wine Harbour Cemetery. Donations may be made to any charity.
