SPRINGVILLE -- Alice Jessie Nelson, 80, of Springville and Lower Caledonia, died Thursday night in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Lower Caledonia, she was a daughter of the late Dan and Bessie (Cumminger) Ross.
She was a member of the Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen.
She is survived by her husband, Ole; three daughters,
June, (Mrs. Ken MacLean) Bridgeville;
Jessie, (Mrs. Bill MacDonald) Glenelg; with whom she resided for the past two years;and
Margaret (Mrs. Bryan Trattle), Fort Langley, B.C.;
Two sons,
Donald, Bathurst, N.B.
Albert, Fort Langley, B.C.;
18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren
one sister, Mrs. Mabel MacPhee, Bridgeville;
one brother, Donald, Riverton.
She was predeceased by one son, Calvin; a brother, Finley, a grandson, Ricky.
Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Saturday. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday from the Kirk Memorial United Church, Aspen. Interment will be in the Lower Caledonia Cemetery.
