MacGRATH, Doris Caroline - 82, Goshen, Guysborough Co., died May 17, 1999, in St. Martha's Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Sherbrooke, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Julia (Smith) Delaney. She was a charter member of the Red Cross, Goshen Branch, as well as being active in the Foster Parents Association. She also was a lover of all animals. Surviving are son, Phonse; daughter, Alberta Chisholm, both of Goshen; foster children, Gladys Reeves, Rosena Connors, Ricky Spears, all of the Pictou area; Billy Kelly; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Dan; half-brother, Joseph; half-sisters, Irene Garney, Mary Chisholm. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour. Funeral 2 p.m. Thursday in Kings United Church, Loch Katrine, Rev. Bob Manley officiating. Burial in the Baptist cemetery, Aspen. Family flowers only please. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society.
