WORTH, Barbara, RN - 80, Guysborough, died Sunday, May 2, 1999, in Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Dan W. and Jennie (Thomas) MacDonald. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Glace Bay, in 1941. She was retired from the Guysborough Hospital, a member of St. Ann's Parish, Guysborough, and a former member of St. Ann's Ladies Aid. Surviving are her husband, Bernie; daughters, Bernadette Garrett (Rod), Scarborough, Ont.; Matilda "Tee" Morrow (Terry), Monastery; sons, David (Lynda), Gerald, Dannie (Lesa), all of Guysborough; sister, Dorita Churney, Glace Bay; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Gregory, Andria, Keith, Scott, Samantha and Justin; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Naish, Gordon, Vinnie, Thomas and Rev. Dan E.; sisters, Eva, Marion "Sis", Matilda "Tee", Magdalene. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. this evening and 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Guysborough. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, in St. Ann's Church, Rev. Allan MacPhie officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations to the palliative care unit of Guysborough Memorial Hospital. Red Bar
