There passed away at the home of his niece
on Sunday
May 11,
Daniel Hugh Mitchell.
Although in failing health for the past year,
his death
came as a shock to his many friends.
Born in Glenelg 66 years ago,
he was the only son of
the late Peter Mitchell and Isabell Ross.
For the past 35 years Mr. Mitchell has resided
in
Sherbrooke, at the home of the late Charles Russell,
who predeceased him only three weeks ago.
His niece, Mrs. Lillian Russell
tenderly cared for her
uncle
during his long illness and the sympathy of
the
community goes out to Mrs. Russell
in her latest
bereavement.
After a short service at the home,
internment took
place in the family plot
at Aspen.
