David W. MacLane
January 25th
There passed away last Wednesday at his residence
in
Stillwater, Guys. Co.,
David William MacLane, in his
91st year,
following an illness of only three weeks.
A son of Henry C. MacLane and Susan Campbell,
Mr.
MacLane spent his entire life in Stillwater,
with the
exception of a brief period in western Canada
in his youth.
He was a member of the United Church.
He was predeceased by his wife,
the former Anna Murdoch,
of Sherbrooke Guys. Co. fifteen months ago,
and by one
daughter; Mrs. Thomas Ross
of Crow's Nest, Guys. Co.
He is survived by one brother, Henry Alexander
of Stillwater;
one sister, Hattie (Mrs. James Gunn),
of Willowdale, Pictou Co.
and one son; Gordon, at home.
Funeral services were held from his late residence,
Rev. Mr.
Robertson officiated at 2:30 on Friday afternoon.
