Seal Harbor – Allister MacFarlane, 61,
of Seal Harbor, Guysborough County
was buried in Seaside cemetary, following funeral service
at the Baptist Church.
Mr. MacFarlane had been employed as a bookkeeper
for the Seal Harbor Co-operative, postmaster
and at the time of his illness was a clerk
in H. D. Manthorne’s Store, Seal Harbor.
Born at Seal Harbor, he was the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. James MacFarlane.
He is survived by one daughter, Natalie (Mrs. John Durant), Antigonish;
one brother, Elmer, Dartmouth; one sister, Rhoda
(Mrs. Arthur LeBlanc), Timmins, Ont; and one granddaughter.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers.
