DeRABBIE, Arthur Levi -- 90, Hazel Hill, died February 5, 1994, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in Hazel Hill, he was a son of the late George and Geniva (King) DeRabbie. He was a retired employee of the Commercial Cable Company and a member of Star of the Sea Parish, Canso. He is survived by his wife, the former Annie Casey;, three daughters, Mary (Mrs. Les Ryter), Halfway Cove; Rita Corkum, Hazel Hill; Betty (Mrs. Leo Peddle), Head of St. Margarets Bay; adopted daughter, Alice (Mrs. Alton Squires), Toronto; two sons, John, Donnie, both of Toronto; half-brother, Joseph, Canso; 21 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, William two sisters and three brothers; a half-brother. Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today and Tuesday in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Star of the Sea Church, Rev. Paul MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to any charity.
