Little Liscomb, Oct. 16 - Funeral services were held on October 18, at St. John's United Church,
for Veron Edwin McKinley, 42,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold McKinley, Liscomb.
An employee of the Department of Transport,
Mr. McKinley had recently returned with his family, from Sable Island where he had been stationed for over two years.
He became seriously ill while vacationing with his wife in Prince Edward Island and passed away a few hours later.
Besides his parents and wife, the former Astrid Anderson, of Goldenville, Guys Col.
he is survived by a young son, Mark;
his grandmother, Mrs. Edwin McKinley, Liscomb,
and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Keith in 1948 and Stanley in 1958.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Officiating at the services were Rev. Robert Stevens, assisted by Rev. Mr. Canning of Sherbrooke Presbyterian Church.
The Sherbrooke Choir was in attendance.
Pall bearers were Jack Anderson, Clarence Baker, Rex Redmond, Ronald MacLeod, Ernest Rudolph and Fred Baker.
