COUNTRY HARBOUR - Austin Howard Sinclair, 59, of Country Harbour, Guysborough County,
died Sunday, Nov. 29 at home.
Born in Country Harbour,
he was a son of Ethel (Hudson)(Sinclair) Munroe, Pictou, and the late Howard Sinclair.
He was a professional truck driver and at the time of his death, was employed with G&G Transport, Lower South River, Antigonish County.
He was an avid 45s and cribbage player.
He is survived by his companion, Mary Bond;
a daughter, Debbie (Mrs. Angus Hodgson) Country Harbour;
three sons, Howard, Charlottetown, P.E.I.;
Kevin, Tony, both of Hamilton, Ont.;
two stepdaughters, Evelyn Christie, Pinevale, Antigonish County;
Patricia Morrison, Dartmouth;
a stepson, Douglas Smith, Tracadie, Antigonish County;
five grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren;
a brother, Gordon, Burlington, Ont.;
a sister, Arlene LeMay, Pictou;
two half-sisters, Geraldine (Mrs. William Smith) Waverley; Sandra Smith, Halifax.
He was predeceased by his first wife, the former June Campbell;
his second wife, the former Hilda Smith;
an infant son, Kenneth.
His remains are resting in G.W. Giffin Funeral Home, Country Harbour,
with visiting from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and where the funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Family flowers only.
