CAMERON, Allister Emery -- 76,
Sunny Brae, Pictou Co., died June 12, 1995, in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Westville, he was a son of the late Ferry and Marion (Emery) Cameron.
He was a resident of Cameron Settlement before moving to Sunny Brae
some 40 years ago.
He was a member and elder of Sunny Brae United Church; member of Albion Masonic Lodge 5, New Glasgow,
and a former member of Royal Canadian Legion, Hopewell.
He was a veteran of the Second World War,
Having served overseas for over five years.
He was a retired construction worker having worked with the Department of Transportation and Tide Water Construction Ltd.
He also owned and operated his own trucking business for a number of years.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia;
daughters, Linda (Mrs. William MacKay) Riverton;
Arlene Sharpe, Sunny Brae;
four grandchildren; four great-granddaughters;
several nieces and nephews;
sisters, Mary (Mrs. Alex Sutherland) Trenton;
Isabel (Mrs. Lloyd Chesnut)Union Centre;
Jeanne (Mrs. Ronald Mines)Florida;
Mrs. Nova Smith, Smithfield
borthers, John, Caledonia
Duncan, Greenwood;
Robert, Cameron Settlement
He was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude,
brothers, Donald, Jamie.
Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
Funeral 4 p.m. Wednesday in Bridgeville United Church,
Rev. Marjorie Cornelius officiating.
Burial in Caledonia Cemetery.
Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or Sunny Brae United Church.
