BEAVER, Aubrey Lewis - 76, Sherbrooke, Guysborough Co., died Friday, June 19, 1998, in
St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke.
Born in Dutch Settlement, Hants Co.,
he was a son of the late Aubrey and Annie (Logan) Beaver.
He was a veteran of the Second World War;
past president of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 86, Liscomb;
member of Queens Masonic Lodge 34, Sherbrooke,
and past president and charter member of the District of St. Mary's Lions Club, Sherbrooke.
He is survived by his wife, the former Utah Newell;
sons, Aubrey R. and wife Carol,
Darrel and wife Betty,
Owen and wife Nancy, all of Sherbrooke;
Thomas and wife Sandy, Lower Sackville;
daughters, Anna Lee (Mrs. Donald Barnes) Sherbrooke;BR> Eileen (Mrs. Kevin Curley) Myrtle Beach, S.C.;
11 grandchildren;
brothers, Cecil, Ken and Harley;
sister, Pearl.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, Masonic service 7 p.m. today,
legion service 7:15 p.m. today, all in Ecum Secum Funeral Home, Sherbrooke.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
Rev. David Curry officiating.
Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
Family flowers only.
Donations may be made to St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, kitchenette fund.
