STILLWATER - John MacBain MacDonald, 66, of Foord Street, Stellarton,
died Wednesday at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in Stillwater, he was a son of the late William A. and Wilena (MacBain) MacDonald.
He was an orderly at the Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
A former employee of Yonkers Hospital in New York.
He was a provincial land surveyor for a number of years.
He was a member of the Campbell Memorial Presbyterian Church, Stillwater.
He is survived by five brothers, Alexander, Glenelg;
William and Chalmers, both of Yonkers, N.Y.;
Victor, Halifax;
Walter, Stillwater;
three sisters, Ann (Mrs. Conrad Freund) Yonkers;
Emma (Mrs. Joseph MacKeen) Halifax;
Mary (Mrs. Lester Chisholm) Hopewell.
He was predeceased by a brother, Lowell.
The body is at the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater,
where funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m.,
Rev. Frank Canning officiating.
Burial in the Riverside cemetery, Sherbrooke.
