Mrs. William Sears

SHERBROOKE - Mrs. William (Peg) Sears, 71, of Sherbrooke, died Monday
in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax.
Born in Stillwater, Guysborough County,
she was the former Margaret Irene Archibald,
a daughter of the late David and Annie (Fenton) Archibald.
She lived most of her life in Stillwater and Sherbrooke.
She was a retired employee of Sherbrooke post office.
She was a member of St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke,
the Women's Missionary Society, the Ladies' Aid Society, and
was actively involved in the Canadian Red Cross Society.
She is survived by her husband, William;
a daughter, Joanne (Mrs. Jacques Langevin) Halifax;
two sisters, Helen (Mrs. George Sears) Sherbrooke;
Barbara (Mrs. Hugh MacDonald) Stillwater;
several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers.
The body will be in H.W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater, after 2 p.m. today.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday in St. James Presbyterian Church, Sherbrooke, Rev. Jane Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
Donations may be made to any charity.
