DIGGINS, Leota Harriet – 68, Mulgrave,
died May 17, 1993, in Strait Richmond Hospital, Evanston.
Born in Burgeo, Nfld., she was a daughter of
the late Thomas and Julia (Munden) Warren.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church (CWL)
and Memory Lane Club.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur;
four daughters, Viola (Mrs. Curtis Carr), Lower Sackville;
Theresa (Mrs. Art Carter), Florence Carter, both of Mulgrave;
Ada (Mrs. Chester Ehler), St. Francis Harbour; three sons,
Tom, Mulgrave; Bob, Waterville, Kings County; Eric, Brunei, Borneo;
three sisters, Marie (Mrs. Eric Downton), Grand Falls;
Annie Lonar, Kingbride, Kings county;
Blanche (Mrs. Jack Henderson), Burgeo; three brothers,
Chalie, Burgeo; Harry, Toronto; Jack Parsons, Halifax;
19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by
a son, Harry; three sisters, Edna, Maude, Nina; brother, Levi.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Thursday
in Mulgrave and Area Resting Place, where a CWL service will be 8 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday in St. Lawrence roman Catholic Church,
Rev. Tom MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Lawrence Cemetery Fund or
Mulgrave and Area Resting Place.
