BEISWANGER, John Ellis - 87, MacKarracher's Nursing Home, Sherbrooke,
formerly of Fisherman's Harbour, Guysborough County,
died Wednesday at the home.
Born in Fisherman's Harbour,
he was a son of the late Charles and Melinda (Myers) Beiswanger.
He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton,
and a retired commercial fisherman.
He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Canadian army.
He is survived by his wife, the former Tena Kathleen Jack;
several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Percy, Campbell, Irving, Murray;
a sister, Hazel.
The body is in St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton,
visiting 7-9 p.m. today where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday,
Rev. Gregory MacMullen officiating.
Burial will be in Fisherman's Harbour cemetery.
Donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church.
