MINARD (Snow), Doris Mae: Port Lorne,
passed away in her 86th year, Sunday, February 8, 2009,
in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville.
She was born in Ecum Secum.
Doris was a loving wife and mother
and also an avid bingo and card player.
Doris is survived by her husband, Newton;
son-in-law, Paul (Anita) Leslie;
granddaughters, Cheryl (Sam Gibson); Marsha (Mark Wilson);
Wendy (Robson Carkner) and great-grandchildren, Kirk and Rachel Gibson,
all of Ontario; brother, Graham (Helen) Pace, Halifax,
and stepson, Paul (Elizabeth) White, Litchfield.
She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Everett Moody;
second husband, Wilbert White and daughter, Carole Margaret-Ann Leslie.
Cremation has taken place.
There will be no visitation at Doris' request.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 21, in Middleton Funeral Home,
398 Main St., (902) 825-3448, Father Fred Hinxman officiating.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co.
following the service.
