RUDOLPH, Sylvia Eileen - 83, High Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care
and formerly of Liscomb, Guysborough Co., and Oakwood Terrace, Dartmouth,
died Monday, December 8, 2003, in the home.
Born in New Harbour, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late
George and Gertrude (Henderson) Nickerson.
She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church, Spanish Ship Bay.
Sylvia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by daughter, Lorena Bowser (Dave McGregor),
Afton, Antigonish Co.; brother, Chesley Nickerson,
Pugwash; sister, Gladys Fenton, High Crest Sherbrooke Home for Special Care;
grandchildren, Jennifer Rudolph, Halifax; Andrew and Tiffany Bowser,
Afton; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husband, Donald Rudolph;
son, Brian Webber; brother, Russell Nickerson.
Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today,
with funeral service at 1 p.m. Thursday,
both in Bayview Baptist Church, Spanish Ship Bay, Pastor Ken Parrett officiating.
Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Stillwater.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia
or Canadian Diabetes Association.
Funeral arrangements are under the dignified and compassionate care
of G.W. Giffin Funeral Homes Ltd., Country Harbour.
