Susan Letitia Giffin, 86, of Isaac's Harbour, Guysborough County,
died
Sunday in Northwood Centre, Halifax.
Born in Isaac's Harbour, she was a daughter of the late
Stephen and
Katherine (Gillon) Giffin.
She taught school for more than 50 years,
first in Sydney and then in
Halifax.
She is survived by a sister Blanche (Mrs. Alfred Wars),
Framingham,
Mass.; six brothers, Spencer, Isaac's Harbour;
Daniel, Bobcaygeon, Ont.;
Chipman, Dorset, Ont.;
Stephen, Timmins, Ont.; and Jamie and Gerald, both of
Hamilton, Ont.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary and Katherine.
The body is in Giffen's Funeral Home, Country Harbour,
Guysborough
County, and will be transferred to
Isaac's Harbour Baptist Church today for
the funeral
at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with burial in Isaac's Harbour Baptist
Church Cemetery.
