Mrs. Feltmate Laid to Rest in Argyle

GOSHEN - Muriel Florence, wife of Arthur E. Feltmate,
Goshen, died Sunday morning, July 3 in St. Martha's Hospital, Antigonish
after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Feltmate, 32 years of age, was the former Muriel Worth,
daughter of Mrs. Henry Worth and the late Mr. Worth of Country Harbor Cross Roads.
A kindly neighbor, Mrs. Feltmate was interested in all good works in her community.
She was a member of Country Harbor Baptist church, Goshen-Argyle Woman's Missionary Society, Goshen Red Cross and Pioneer Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Isaac Harbor, in which she had held several offices.

Surviving are her husband,
two young daughters Sharon and Patricia, Goshen;
her mother, Mrs. Henry Worth, Country Harbor;
four sisters, Hilda (Mrs. James Jarvis) Cook Cove,
Annie (Mrs. Maynard Veinotte) Country Harbor Cross Roads,
Ina (Mrs. William Clark) Halifax,
Minnie (Mrs. Gordon Feltmate) Toronto;
eight brothers, Frank, Cook Cove,
Robert, New Glasgow,
Everett and Lambert, Timmins, Ont.,
Walter, Fort William,
George and Morris, Country Harbor Cross Roads,
Ross, Toronto.

The funeral was held Tuesday, first at the Feltmate home and later at Goshen Gospel Mission church, conducted by Rev. R. Matthews of Mulgrave Park Baptist church, Halifax, assisted by Lic. David Watt of Country Harbor Baptist church.
Loch Katrine church choir had charge of the music.
Lawrence Mason of Country Harbour sang "The Beautiful Garden of Prayer".
Interment was in Argyle Cemetery and the pall bearers were
Albert Cummings, John Sutherland, Fred Robertson, Roy Fox, John DeRoche and Henry Mason.
