INDIAN HARBOUR LAKE, April 6 –
The death occurred on Friday, March 25,
at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke,
of George Seymore MacDonald in his 87th year.

Son of the late John and Eleanor (Frude) MacDonald,
he spent his lifetime at Indian Harbour Lake
with the exception of a short time spent in Timmons and Cobalt.

Surviving besides his wife, the former Pearl Rudolph,
are two sons, John and Robert, of Indian Harbour Lake;
two daughters, Isabel (Mrs. Alfred Mills), Port Hilford, and Georgina
(Mrs. Winton Hemlow), Indian Harbour Lake, also 15 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted from the Pentecostal Church at 2:30 on Sunday
with Rev. Johnstone officiating. Hymns sung were
“All the Way My Savior Leads Me”, “Meet Me There”, a solo
“Some Golden Daybreak” by Lawrence Mason
and at the graveside, “Abide With Me”.

Pallbearers were Bert MacDonald, Leonard Jordan, Cecil Jordan,
Edison Jordan, Milton Rudolph and Stowell Rudolph.
Interment was in the Indian Harbour Lake Cemetery.
